The stories we often tell ourselves to silence ourselves are the ones we need to tell. Fears of A Mother Tales of a Daughter is a collection of poetry and prose that tells the story of a daughter’s love, growth, pain, and journey as a young Black Girl to a Young Black Woman with a silenced child within her. As you read you bare witness to her unbecoming and becoming divulging the fears her mother could only be told through her eyes.
